That will never get old!

• I cannot believe what I get to be part of!  Wow!  Crosspoint ROCKED today.
• Today was our Tailgate Baptism Party on location where our new facility will be.
• When I rolled in at 8:00 there were already a couple dozen cars and tents everywhere.
• By the time we started it was a sea of humanity as people had grills going, smokers running, tents going up and bands rehearsing.
• We kicked off with the West Morgan High School Drum Line – they got people fired up about Baptism!
• We tossed a few Crosspoint footballs out for the kids (I think adults acted like kids more than kids did)
• Then we worshiped till we tripped a breaker on the diesel generator.
• I preached for a few minutes and then we sang some more while I got my swimsuit on.
• Then 570 people watched as 60 people got baptized in a 42″x15′ blow up swimming pool we filled with a fire hydrant the night before!
• There were 47 people scheduled to be baptized but after I got done they just kept coming and coming and coming spontaneously.
• I honestly think this was the greatest day in the history of Crosspoint because:
• We go crazy to reach people no one else wants to reach and we arent afraid to do things no one else is doing.
• My back hurts so bad right now I had to take some meds my Dr. gave me but I could do that every single weekend of my life.
• I will NEVER get tired of baptizing people and seeing them make public their commitment to follow Jesus Christ!
• Thanks to the incredible team of Volunteers and Life Groups who pulled off an AMAZING life changing service today.
• I am honored and humbled to be your pastor!
