Sunday’s Full Throttle in the Tuesday Mirror

• Sunday’s Full Throttle was probably the most amazing day ever at Crosspoint Church
• The Biker Rally theme that we chose along with the Song “Ride With Me” by Decypher Down was incredible – our band and arts team hit a home run.
• Thanks for the guys and jennifer for sacrificing your time to ride harley’s for a couple hours to get that 1 minute video.
• I talked about having a burden and vision for your life – and for your city.
• I thought I had one and as I set out chairs on the stage and talked about who might sit in them I used stories about broken hurting people that actually make up some of the people who come to Crosspoint.
• I had no idea that on Monday I would get a call and another one of those stories happened.
• We are dealing with real life people with real life issues.  The thief comes to Kill and Destroy.  Jesus came to give us life!
• Jesus will build his church and the gates of hell will not stand against it.
• I say we drive right up to the gates and hang up a sign that says “closed until further notice”
• We laid out goals for Full Throttle and they are already being shattered.  First goal was 500+ attendance in October.  October’s not over and not everyone can or will come back (fall break next week) but we shattered the goal the first day.
• We had our highest attendance in the theater EVER last weekend – 562.  Easter Sunday was 550.  Im sure both days people got counted twice but it was crazy.
• Servolution Sunday on October 18 is going to be a blast.  We had several people sign up for Life Groups and our Life Group leaders are designing service projects that will be incredible!  Can’t wait!
• We announced our financial goal of $200,000
• $75,000 on Full Throttle Sunday – 10/25
• $125,000 in commitments over the next year.
• I believe we will shatter the goals – we need $400,000 to equip our facility and staff for growth.
• The events of yesterday showed me pretty clearly that this is war with Satan.
• It is a war he will never stop fighting.  So we can never let up.  We have to go FULL THROTTLE!
• When the time is right I will give more details about Monday’s events but right now I just ask that you continue to pray for a family that lost someone they loved.
• Pray for me too.  The weight of what we are doing and what is happening at Crosspoint,  coupled with the stories I hear about people in crisis along with whatever life throws at me can be overwhelming at times.  But…
• I am not discouraged, I am determined.
• I am broken, but will not break.
• I am being tried in a fire – but I am trusting my Savior
• I am being refined to reflect His image
• I am the humbled to be the pastor of an awesome Church where God is moving and the devil is attacking and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
• Lets charge hell and change lives!
