Long time no blog

• The crazy pace of my life in the last few months has caused the blogging to come to halt.
• Honestly i am struggling with the whole reason for blogging.  I started this for a specific purpose – but now I need to rediscover that purpose.
• Love the series we are in right now – Making Love…Last.  I think its very timely and needed.
• I decided to take a week off for the series and somehow that turned into three weeks.
• I didn’t realize how badly I needed the rest after the lead up to Full Throttle and the actual series itself.
• Since i havent preached in 3 weekends – get ready for Sunday.  I may set the stage on fire.
• Im proud of our church for not depending on me – and our staff and awesome volunteers for doing what needs to be done regardless of who is teaching on the stage.
• God has been doing something in my heart and soul during this time away from the stage.
• God is far from done with this or making things clear for me but there is a stirring that will lead to some HUGE things in my life and the life of Crosspoint.
• Im pretty excited about our new series starting Dec 6 called Dirty Christmas.  Hang on – its going to get messy as we talk about “The Dirty Secret”, “The Dirty Truth”, and “The Dirty Job”
• Thanks Kevin, Charles and Jack for doing a great job preaching for me.
• Thank you Crosspoint for allowing me to invest in my family and make love last.  This time was important for my marriage.
• I’ll be blogging less but stick around as I unpack and unfold what God is brewing in my heart and soul.
