Merry Christmas XPT Volunteers
Our Volunteers go CRAZY for Jesus 49 weeks in the theater and 2 weekends on the House of Rock Property. Some pastors think we are nuts for canceling a worship service. But I believe this is an AWESOME way to say Merry Christmas to our Volunteers. Therefore we will NOT hold services at the Movie Theater (or anywhere else for that matter) on SUNDAY DECEMBER 27.
We want to give our INCREDIBLE Volunteers and our Staff a weekend to enjoy with their family and friends without the intense pressure of preparing for and then working from 6:00 am till 1:00PM on the weekend between Christmas and New Year. Merry Christmas Crosspoint! We LOVE YOU!
NOTE: MANY of you have asked about YEAR END GIVING, especially due to FULL THROTTLE. Its important to you, important to the IRS, so we are making it important to us.
1) If you use E-give – our ONLINE Stewardship Partner – please read their Year End Policy. Read it carefully as ONE TIME, and Recurring Gifts are treated differently.
2) If you give by cash or check stop by the resource center for a giving envelope. It is postage paid. Any gift recieved that is postmarked in 2009 will be credited toward the 2009 tax year. (We don’t recommend sending CASH in the mail however!)
3) If you prefer to hand your gift to someone in person, we will let you know via the service announcements AND THIS BLOG where the designated drop off point is AND the hours when you may drop of your gift.
