Excited about THR33

We started a new series Sunday called THR33.  (Three)

Im pretty fired up about this series!  We are going to spend several weeks re-envisioning the mission and methods of Crosspoint Church.  This is the down and dirty, nuts and bolts of who we are why we do what we do.

Why are we doing this series now?  Well normally I’d do it in January but I was off.  Second, I think its foolish to believe that everyone is 100% consumed with and focused on our vision and mission as a church.  Mission drift is real.  Andy Stanley says vision leaks every 21 days.  People tend to get focused on the wrong things and this is our chance to make sure everyone is headed in the same direction.

Habakkuk 2:2 says: Then the LORD replied:  “Write down the revelation (vision) and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.”

We want a church full of heralds (messengers) who have the vision of God for Crosspoint church to wreck North Alabama for Jesus.  So get ready for four weeks of THR33.  It may make you uncomfortable or it may free up seats for new people to come to Jesus!
