- Today we were “At The Movies” again at Crosspoint and Jack preached “The Blind Side.” and connected the story to the Life of Zacchaeus.”
- He did a great job!
- I had to leave early cuz Jordan texted me very sick. She has Strep. Nice.
- I woke up at 4:30 this morning to go work with our set up team.
- Arrived at the storage unit at 5:30 and loaded trailers, then I did grunt work for an hour or so.
- Went home and showered and then worked the Cafe’
- Love both these teams and proud to serve with them.
- Truth is what they do is more noticed by our guests than what I do!
- Talked to a guy today who’s been coming to Church for a month or so. His life was messed up. He told me since he started coming to Crosspoint his life has dramatically changed and he wants to give his life back to Jesus and serve him!
- Thats why we do what we do!!!!
- Was on vacation last week in Washington DC. Had a great time seeing sights with Jordan and Dana.
- It was a crazy long drive but I got to hang out with my friend Darren Plummer and was in my buddy Ray’s wedding.
- Never been in a catholic wedding before. Got to say a “Prayer of the faithful” and prayed for the pope, babies, parents, sick people and dead people.
- Also had mass and communion. Kinda strange for me but it was interesting to see how my Catholic friends worship.
- Theologically there are a few differences…ok a lot…but if we can agree on the gospel (death, burial, and resurrection of Christ) then we’ll celebrate together in eternity.
- Crazy progress on The House of Rock in the past couple of weeks. Its going faster and faster.
- We started painting this weekend and we are starting to buy gear next week. Will begin installs soon!
- I have an approximate date for move in and our first service but I cant tell anyone yet.
- Sorry – I really cant tell you.
- This week is going to be insane. The next few months I probably wont sleep.
- Speaking of sleep I want to take a nap but I had 3 monster energy drinks this morning. Not smart at all!
- Gonna try to sleep anyway.
